As I walked into Watson's Pavilion yesterday, the entire place reeked of an awful burning smell. I looked around curiously to see if other people smelled it. But everyone looked normal, nobody was wrinkling up their noses like me! Hmmm... I thought maybe it's just me.
Then, I saw a commotion near the Silky Girl shelf towards the back of the shop. A shop assistant placed a ladder in front of the shelf, and a security guard brought a fire extinguisher. I don't think they know how to use the extinguisher coz they kept trying to use it without first pulling out the pin securing the trigger. Then, another guy went to them and pulled out the pin. The shop assistant climbed up the ladder with the extinguisher, and my eyes went to the top of the shelf, and I saw smoke coming out from it. The fella then directed the extinguisher's nozzle at where the smoke was coming from and... Whooosh! A cloud of white smoke was released. That was when I backed away and walked outta the shop. Don't wanna be caught in all that smoke and then smell of it.
All I wanted was to check out some nail polish and this happened... Drama-nya!
