Wad's all the fuss about? Izit even necessary??!

Edison Chen ~ disgraced actor from HK who went into exile after his sex scandal which shook the whole region and even managed to gain coverage in CNN has decided to show his face in public again.

Doesn't he feel any shame? Doesn't he feel embarrassed to be showing his face again? And who does he think he is to try to launch his fashion empire here, targetted at our youth? Does he think he's fit to be a role model to our youth with his tarnished reputation??

After all the negative publicity, this fella is thick-skinned enough to come out and give interviews, trying to re-establish himself as a businessman, producer, bla, bla. OMG! Does he even have any talent to do any of these? His acting and singing were not that great to begin with. And to emphasize that he's in 'The Dark Knight' really does not do justice to the movie. I mean, having a small role, where if you blink your eyes you will miss him, is not considered to be 'in' a movie. Just be direct about it and admit you're just an extra. Don't try to naikkan your falling profile by associating yourself with a movie as big as this.

He was in KL last weekend to launch his fashion outlet in Bangsar. A mob of his die-hard fans were there to catch a glimpse of him.
Even more embarrassing is the ignorance of our local youth. The young girls and guys who flocked to his shop opening to be near him and to take photos with him. Why all the fuss? Why all the support? Don't they realise who they're worshipping? A perverted animal in human skin. A sick sick disgusting being whose despicable secret life was exposed to the world. Why then, did he receive such a warm welcome from our locals? I feel embarrassed by the ignorance of my fellow countryman. When news of this opening comes out in the media, the whole world will think Malaysian's are pathetic, ignorant fools who worship perverts. And I'm not alone with this school of thought. There are others out there who are as disturbed as I am over this.

I pity the people, especially the girl-fans who seemed as if they struck lottery just coz they managed to snap a few photos with this fella. Even more pitiful are those who proudly show off their photos and thought it's all so cool. How do I know? Just search in Google and a list of blogs, etc will come up displaying photos of Edison and his adoring legion of girl-fans from KL.

Hmmm... Don't they know who they're associating themselves with? By behaving like adoring, swooning fans, don't they realise how this reflects on them? It either reflects: a) they are stupid with no intelect whatsoever to judge what's right and wrong with their actions/ b) they simply don't care about their own reputation to be associated as a loyal, dedicated fan of a pervert/ c) they [this applies to girls only] just wanna be part of the scandal and hoped to get laid by this fella to get their 5 minutes of fame/ d) they [also applies to girls only] are sluts themselves who can relate to Edison coz they probably share the same disgusting hobby.

Hate those who blindly worship people just coz they're mat sallehs or someone with a bit of fame. Don't even have the intellect to assess if the person they worship is worth it. Just coz of their skin color or their fame/notority [depending on how you view it], this doesn't mean they are more superior than us. At the end of the day, they are humans just like us, with no super powers whatsoever. So why all the fuss? Izit necessary to lower yourself as secondary beings to these supposedly more 'superior' ones? Sad to say, in this country, a lot of people are like this. And, just coz of a rotten apple, the whole basket is spoiled. Meaning, the rest of us who have a bit of ability to think reasonably will be tainted too! We will be known in general as the ignorant 'Malaysians' even though not ALL of us are like that. Urrghhh... I so don't deserve to be labelled like this, man!

That's why I'm damn pissed with all these media coverage and attention this Edison fella gets. He's not to blame. The people who showered him with all the adoration are. Coz they're Malaysians, and coz of their bulls**t behavior, I might be labelled and mistaken as one of them too!

Sigh... I'm looking forward to a day where all these stupid, ignorant, blind worshipping of supposed 'superior' foreigners or so-called 'celebs' will end. Then, it'll do justice to the rest of us who are intelligent enough to know our own worth and realise everyone is equal, and nobody is more superior than the rest.
