Moi Birthday ;)

My colleagues threw a surprise birthday lunch for Matthias and I [our birthdays are a week apart, I think] at Tony Roma's, Pavilion on the eve of my birthday [think coz I'll be on leave on the actual day] under the pretense that it was Dee Lin's farewell [she's transfered up to GHR to work, and her last day in our department was on my birthday itself].

I was really surprised! Didn't expect it at all. Was really touched. It was really nice of everyone to do that for Matthias and I :)
After cutting the cake at the restaurant, we decided to bring it back to the office to eat. Alan was appointed to bring the cake back. On our way back to the office [which is just opposite Pavilion, btw], we got into our 'posing' moods and 'tak-tau-malu' snapped pics at the side of the road. Very mengada, I know... Hahaha...

Towards the end of the day, when I was ready to leave the office, another surprise was sprung on me! My dear colleagues gave me a pressie and a card. It was totally unexpected. Really super touched!! Love the Nike top to bits. It fits perfectly. Thanks so much, you guys!!! It's really sweet of you all.

On the day of my birthday, I went on a self-pampering spree. First, I went to Hartamas for lunch at my fav cafe, had my fav meal and fav coffee. Then, I went for a relaxing foot massage with my ipoh and mag in tow. After that, I drove to Solaris where I'd booked myself a nice body massage followed by mani + pedi. I was in seventh heaven. Total bliss. Wish I can afford the $ and time to do this everyday. Hehehe...

I had my best birthday present to date from dad this year. A brand new air-cond!! I was complaining so much about the heat I think both mom and dad decided they had enough of it and got me an air-cond for my birthday. Haha... Dad had people come install it in my room on my birthday. I'm a happy girl :D

Yaacob took me to Moxie at Dsara Heights for dinner that night. It's a new restaurant by the same owners of Cava and Opus in Bangsar. Food was great. Dessert was sinfully awesome. Ambience was nice. So, yea, dinner was good :)

Went home after to cut my birthday cake with my family.

Everyone except Yaacob coz I haven't decided what I want from him yet. I recently set my sights on a lovely Gucci purse and Yaacob offered to get it for me as my birthday gift, BUT [horrors!!], when I went back to the store, it was sold out [sobs!!]. I'm really upset coz I really really like the purse so much. Haven't been able to get it outta my mind. Someone out there bought MY birthday present!!!! Hmmph!

I feel truly blessed to have so many people who love me so much in my life. It can really be felt on my birthday with their efforts in tryin to make it extra special for me and to make me happy. With this, I feel really grateful and very very lucky to have all these shining stars bestowed upon me :)
