He Turned 28!!

It was Yaacob's birthday last Sunday. We started the celebration for his hari keputeraan on Friday...

Had dinner at our fav Thai place, Flying Chilli's @ Gardens. Then, ice-cream @ Dessert Bar. We then returned to the Gardens to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Was super excited about the movie. Love Transformers 1 to bits. The sequel was great coz of the introduction of a lot of new robots but still, script-wise, story-wise and overall, the first movie's better.
The next day, we had brunch at our fav weekend lunch place, Backofen. Went for a foot massage after that.
After dropping Yaacob home, I went home to make him his 'surprise' cheesecake. Mom helped me a lot in making it. Mom and Soo even helped me buy a nice cake box, tray, plastic 'happy birthday' sign, knife and candles, so my cake will look super 'pro'... Hehehe...

Partied at Velvet at night and celebration Yaacob's birthday countdown there.
He had a round of shots and 2 flamings and loads of other booze...
He terbabas-ed at the end of the night. We went over to Phuture and he was super-friendly, offered to help people at the next table take pics, then he himself was in the pics...
Ended the night by walking around Zouk and danced there a bit before the lights came on. Drove him and Suilin home. Thank goodness I mantained sober!

Enjoyed a hot stone massage at Amante the following day...
The massage was super relaxing and I really enjoyed it. I love falling asleep during massages. Makes me feel very rejuvenated and fresh after ;)
Went for late lunch @ Schokolart. The food and choc drinks there never fail to make me happy. The roesti was superb and the hot choc that I had was sinfully deli-CIOUS!! I really like the whole concept of Schokolart and their mugs, dishes and glasses. E.g. my hot choc came in a mug called the 'hugga mugga'. It's designed in a way for customers to hug the mug with their hands to feel the warmth of the drink before enjoying it. So creative, right?
Went back to Yaacob's place after that to hang out and help out for the BBQ. His family threw him a BBQ for his birthday. The food was simply scrumptious. The beef, chicken, potato salad and salad. All so yummy. His mom, dad and sisters are really good cooks. They marinated the meat themselves, made the potato salad from scratch, even the salad dressing was homemade. Hmmm... Wonder when Yaacob will 'inherit' this family talent and cook me a feast *Hint hint* Kekekeke.... Felt quite shy during cake-cutting coz my cake was placed beside the professional choc mud-pie from Secret Recipe *Blush* Thank goodness the kids like my cake. They were eating lots of it. Phew! Sigh of relief :P
Happy Birthday, Honey! Hope you had a great one!! Love you lots!!!
