All of us got ready early to avoid being late [didn't want our table to be given to other customers!!]. Did a lil cam-whoring before we bertolak...
As usual, our family being our family, we were late, even though I made sure everyone knew dinner's at 8pm 2 weeks earlier. And the fact that the snobby, unhelpful waiter at the restaurant who refused to extend our reservation [reason being: "there is a long line of customers waiting for tables and they're already questioning why there's an empty table at the corner which they cannot take"] when I called to inform him we're gonne be late didn't help in making me feel less stressed. Grrr...I hadta drive like a F1 driver to get to the restaurant on time to get our table!! Stressed, man, especially when I'm driving my whole familiy!!
Anyways, even though the service rendered by the restaurant staff sucked BIG time, we didn't allow that to dampen our Christmas mood...
Jebb had this idea of the 2 of us snapping pics of each other at the same time...
Finally, the food arrived after a long wait...
Everyone's food arrived except Mom's. Even after everyone finished eating, her chicken was not served yet. The waitresses were really unhelpful in checking her order and in the end, pissed all of us off with their nonchalant attitude in serving their customers. I mean, yes, I know it's Christmas Eve and you have a full house but that doesn't mean we should expect less service from you guys and it is acceptable to treat customers like s**t and being exceptionally slow in serving our food!!!After a lot of fuss, Mom finally got her food.
Then, Yaacob arrived with a box of Christmas cupcakes. Miraculously, his food came quite fast.
Soo had a tummy-ache so Shu drove her home first. We hadta wait for 10-15 minutes just to pay. Goodness!! I'll not eat at this restaurant ever again if I can help it!!
