Chris & Pearly's Wedding Dinner

Chris & Pearly tied the knot last Saturday and all of us went for their wedding dinner at the Sheraton Subang. Everyone was dressed to the nines... Check out Alison's 'datin' hair and Su Choon's silk embroidered jacket!!

As usual, we mingled around the reception area before being ushered into the ballroom for our 9-course dinner. There was a backdrop at the reception area for guests to pose and have their photos taken by a couple of photographers. One of the photographers will hand the polaroid shots back to the guests together with a card for them to slip their photos in and to write their wishes to the happy couple. A clear plastic box was placed near the backdrop for guests to drop in their photo-cards. Very creative...

As usual, everyone terbabas-ed by the end of the night. The following pics will show...

At first, everyone was still sober and mantained...

Halfway through the dinner, you can see some guys running around with bottles of whiskeys in their hands, trying to make everyone drink... Most people from my table disappears dunno-where, the rest still mantained, though can see some are halfway 'there'... Su Choon the molestor came to kacau Yaacob his molestee. Look at their pic, hands covering their 'assets'... Hahaha...
End of dinner ~ total chaos. During the 'yum-seng' session, the bride and groom's entourage was so big, most tables were empty as everyone wanted to 'yum-seng' together.... It was havoc, with Su Choon banging a teapot with a ladle [dunno how he got his hands on those things] and of coz, something must break in the midst of all the 'yum-seng' excitement. When I went to Su Choon's table to chill, I saw a piece of broken bowl floating in the dessert bowl... Hmmm... Dunno who's responsible for that...

The after party was a blast. Everyone went out to the reception area and the DJ was spinning out fantastic party music. Everyone was drunk and running around wreaking more havoc. I think creative juices flow more when people are drunk. I saw people dressing themselves up as presents with the big bows from the chairs. Flower deco became hair deco for the guys. Ernest was running around stamping everyone with the parking stamp. Slob got 1 on his neck.... Hahahahahaaa....

I got a dozen of pretty white roses from Yaacob, who conveniently helped himself with them from the flower deco around the place. He set the bar for the other guys and soon, can see Kenny picking flowers from the deco as well :P The guys then got creative with the flowers, as you can see from the pics.

Julie 'pinjam-ed' the polaroid camera from one of the photographers and in no time, all of us were layaning diri, posing for photo after photo. Didn't care how many photos we took. We just snapped away like crazy...

It was fun!!

Was so tired when I got home. This is the first wedding that guests stayed til about 1.30am. Wow!!
