Woke up super early today [at ungodly 6.30am] coz I need to get to bestie's house to get a ride from her to work and before that, need to send lil sis off to college... Urgh...
I hadta practically run across the road [in my high heels!! Chances of me falling right smack on my face = extremely high] once bestie dropped me off coz I didn't wanna be late [again] for the weekly dept meeting and end up looking like some pariah, having to drag in a chair with everyone in the meeting room looking at me coz the room's too full of people and chairs ran out.
My schedule today:
9am - Dept meeting
10am - Had a super rushed breakfast at my desk [mihun + milo + oats] while checking emails and going thru to-do list
11.30am - Tony came to remind me of my meeting with him
12pm - Meeting with Tony
12.20pm - Boss wanted to meet me for 2 minutes to discuss something important
12.22pm - Resumed meeting with Tony
12.35pm - Got into cab to go up to resort
1.40pm - Lunch with Jia Yee [food came super slow. We didn't even get our desserts >;(]
2.40pm - Grind market meeting
4.20pm - Stole away from Grind market meeting to meet Irene
5.20pm - Finally all meetings are over. Called cab to get home
6.40pm - Got home but no rest, gotta finish off work then email sis pics of mom's baptism as promised
Now - Dead tired and ready to crash... zzzZZZZ
So much work to do and so little time!!! Wish there's like, 30 hours in a day...
Quick update on what happened last weekend and yesterday:
- Went out with bestie and bf on Saturday night ~ Sky Bar then The Apartment [wanted to be adventurous and tried the Orange Choc Martini coz the description of the cocktail in the menu seemed yummy. Bad choice!! I hated it!!! Tasted like antibiotics... Yuck!!]
- Woke up early for mom's baptism on Sunday morning. Cousins Jackie and Shu came to show their support :)
- Got to office super late yesterday and walked outta the lift at my floor greeted by EVERYONE, yes I mean EVERYONE who works on my floor [that's including my bosses and all other big bosses].... Drat!!! It was our floor's 'Go Green' campaign launch and I got the launch time wrong. Thought it was an hour later. Sigh... So busted!! Buuut, I managed to find an old green top [I only have one, ONE, green top!! Ok, time to go shopping...] in support of the launch. Most people were dressed in green and there were green refreshments and green tea served. Took some pics [will upload once I get it from the others. Didn't bring my camera]
