Surprise, Pam!!

Got a sms from Suilin yesterday late afternoon informing me of a surprise meet up for Pam at Alexis, Bangsar. At that time, I was hafway up the hill for a last minute meeting. Dunno whether can get back on time. Hmmm...

Yaacob hadta work late too, so we both said we'd be late.

Then, I had car drama again after I got back to the office. I reached quite late. About 7pm plus. Coz the meeting went quite long. I left my laptop at my desk [panicked for a bit, coz everyone left the office already according to Rain, who called me to ask whether I'll be back to get my laptop]. I got a little bit more work done before deciding to go off. Then, it happened. My car wouldn't start. The moment I tried to start it, the alarm would come on but the engine didn't. Urgh... My car died on me!! So crappy.

Called mom and called Yaacob. Yaacob came to rescue me. He tried to figure out whether the battery's the problem and a man who came to the parking to get his car, decided to be a good samaritan and helped us by borrowing us his toolbox [couldn't find mine in my car booth], tissues and some perfume [needed some alcohol to dissolve the residues on the battery and no alcohol except perfume, which has alcohol in it]. In the end, my car still refused to start. So, I left it there for the night and hopped into Yaacob's car to rush to Pam's surprise meet up.

I thought we'd be the latest to arrive. Mana tau, we were one of the earliest. Pam was really surprised. Jessie was the one who planned this. She actually conned Pam to get her to come out. Hahaha... Lucky Pam showed up. If not, it'll be a surprise for Pam without Pam.

Had a good dinner of Caesar's Salad and funny conversations. Then, it's time to go home and zzzZZZ... I was dead tired. Will figure out how to sort out my problematic car tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to Lil Elaine's birthday bash this Saturday. Haven't partied with all of the gang for some time. Wanna go and have fun!!

Also looking forward to my hair appointment with Joey this Saturday. Gosh, so hard to book him. I hadta book him 3 weeks in advance. He better make me look fabulous!!

Also happening this Saturday is the MTV Asia Awards @ Genting. Pussycat Dolls are opening the show. Must be one hot, sexy opening. Tickets are scarce and super expensive. I'm obviously not going. So, I guess I'll just dance to some Pussycat Dolls' songs in the club... Hehe....
