Happy Birthday to Me!!

My birthday just passed! I turned 2* last Tuesday. And yes, I am sensitive about my age so I dun wanna disclose how old I am! How I wish I can be 21 every year. Why 21? Coz it's the legal age to party and drink yet still young enough not to worry about lines on my face.

I had, like, 4 celebrations this year. Small ones but nevertheless, I am really appreciate everyone's efforts and thoughfulness into making my BIG day special :) I am really happy :D

Birthday Celebration II:

Since I took leave on my birthday [I didn't feel like working on that day and just wanted to relax and pamper myself :P], my colleagues bought me a cake the day before and invaded Beverly's room [he was on leave. But come to think of it, whether he's on leave or not, it didn't matter. We'll still invade his room if we wanted to... Hehe...] to have a hush hush 'birthday-song-singing-cake-cutting' thingy. All of them went into Bev's room to prep the cake, then YY came to ask me to go inside. They 'kidnapped' my camera to take pics of the occasion...

They remembered what I liked when I was walkin around Diva and got me so many of the accessories I like from there... Thanks guys!

Matthias' birthday is in early May, he got his present on that day as well.

David Man's birthday came and passed a few weeks ago. He finally got his present. Will have MA-JOR celebration in the weekend... Beware David!! Sure will terbabas with the amount of alcohol we plan to pour down your throat!! Muahahahaha...

Got stuck in a 2 hour jam [it's ridiculous!!] on the way back home. I was late! Hadta meet the girls at 9pm. Aaarrgghhh.. When I got home, I super-rushed to get ready. Soo came into my room and gave me her pressie!! It's a nice white top from Ms. Selfridge. Thanks, Soo!

Mum came to give me my pressie from Dad and her. What can I say... My parents gave me the most practical pressie in the world, a red packet full of $$ ;) Hehehehe...

Birthday Celebration III:

Met up with Jo and Michelle [she's preggers!! Congrats Michelle and Jeremy!! I'm sooo excited!!] at The Apartment, The Curve for drinks. I knew Jo planned a surprise birthday thingy for me coz Steph terbongkarkan her plan in the afternoon with her birthday wish sms. Ahahahahaah... May was not there coz she hadta rest more, doctor's orders [she's preggers too!! Oh my, the storks will be busy end of this year!!].

They had a cake brought to the table and sang me a birthday song. I made my wish for the 3rd time this year [it's all the same. I made the same wishes during my first and 2nd cake cutting sessions. I really hope it'll come true] and cut the cake. Jo presented me with my pressies. She asked, "Guess what it is." "Urm... Some deco thingy?" I replied [to which she snickered], trying not to rip the wrapper apart too much. To my pleasant surprise, it's not a 'deco thingy', it's a *gasp* watch!! A white Esprit watch to be exact! Oh my... So generous and sweet of the girls. It must cost them quite a lot. My 2nd pressie was a phone deco thingy with my name on it and their initials. Thanks so much, girls!! *Hugzzz*

Birthday Celebration IV:

On the actual day of my birthday, Yaacob came to pick me up and drove me to Marmalade for a healthy lunch [he's such a sweetie. His shoulder is still in pain and his arm hadta be in a sling, but he still came to pick me up, driving with 1 hand. I saw how difficult it was for him to do that and I felt really sakit hati to see him try to maneuver the car with 1 hand and whenever he was in a position which hurt his shoulder, he'd groan in pain. My poor poor baby!! ;'(]. Then, he treated me to a spa session at Energy Spa, Mont Kiara.

I had such a great time. I was so so so so super relaxed after my Neroli spa session. I had a steam bath, soaked in a tub of milk solution, had my body scrubbed and a full body massage. I was practically glowing when I came out.

Then, when Yaacob came to pick me up, I spotted a bunch of white flowers at the passenger seat. Goodness, he bought me flowers!! WHITE ROSES!!! My fav!! Oohhh... I was super-happy. When I got into the car, I found out that the flowers were in a nice vase. He was holding the vase all the way from BU to Kiara with his left hand [his LEFT shoulder was injured] and was driving with the other hand. OMG!! The vase was heavy. My heart dropped a bit coz I knew it hurt him a lot to hold the vase for that drive. Thanks so much, honey!!! I really appreciate all that you did for my birthday to make me happy *MUAX*

In the evening, we went to one of my fav restaurants, Il Divo for dinner. Vincenzo, the owner, was there and came over to talk to us a bit, asking Yaacob about his shoulder. As usual, the food was GREAT!! Especially the dessert... I had the chocolate mousse. It was superb!! Yum yum yum...
In summary, I had 4 small yet meaningful birthday celebrations, 3 birthday cakes...
and lotsa pressies...
