Aahhhh... Super relaxed!!

I'm super relaxed today. Woke up, ate, read the papers then met up with Yaacob.

We went to our fav cafe to have our fav coffee :)

Then, walked to Edyth's cooking school called 'The Cooking House' to check it out. I've not met Edyth for a year plus. And I've not been to her school since it opened it's doors last year [yea, I'm a lousy friend :p]. I'm really happy for her to be able to realise her dream. She told me that she wanna start her own biz by the time she hit 30 and she really went and did it!! She left her comfy managerial job at a big corporation along with all the security and stability that job offered to open her own cooking school. Cooking has always been a hobby of hers. So, she decided to team up with her sister and both of them dreamt up The Cooking House's concept. Within a year, it opened its doors for biz. A big risk, yes, but a year later, as I stepped into the vast, bright and clean school, I know Edyth is doing really well and she's happy. And I am happy for her :)

[Hmmm... dunno when it's my turn to realise MY dream??! What's my dream? I've always wanted to work freelance and escape the drudgery of having to report to the office at a certain time everyday, being stuck in a teeny weeny cubicle, staring at a computer screen for almost the whole day and having to go thru the same routine day in day out... Oh well, my time will come, I'm sure. I'll just hafta hang in there and work my way towards my dream, no matter how vague it still is now. I'm sure if I work hard and don't give up, I'll achieve what I truly want :)]

After checking out The Cooking House and catching up with Edyth for a bit, Yaacob and I went to Wen Xin for our reflexology. This place was recommended by Susu and this was our first time there. And I hafta say, I am IMPRESSED by the ambience of the place and the service. The entire place was nicely done up, dimly lit with comfy plush chairs for us to sink onto and serene music for us to totally relax.

First, they made us soak our feet in wooden basins of hot water full of white jelly stuff. Then, they placed warm lil herb-smelling pillows filled with beans on our shoulders and on our backs before starting the reflexology. The reflexology went on for an hour [I can't say much about whether the reflexology was good or not coz I dozed off the moment it started... Ahahahaa... Yes, so 'piggy' of me :P]. After that, we had the cupping treatment [the treatment where little glass cups will suck out all the angin from our bodies] done on our feet. At the end of the treatment, they wrapped our feet with warm towels, then wiped off all the cream. Finally, the masseurs massaged our necks and shoulders a bit and it was the end of our session. For 75 minutes treatment we paid RM65, which was a really good deal. I'm definitely going back there again.

Now, I am feeling super relaxed :)
