Dinner, Foosball, Movie & A Saman

Last Saturday was a day where I drove around so much it reminded me of my life 5 years ago when I was working in production. But then, 5 years ago, I drove around coz of work. Last Saturday was for fun!! So, there's a vast difference :)

Let's see, my day started by driving to Yaacob's place @ BU, then to The Curve, then to TTDI, then back to BU, then to Jalan Ipoh to pick Lil Jessie up, then to Cava @ Bangsar for dinner, then to Cineleisure for a movie, drove Lil Jessie home, dropped Yaacob home and went home. Wow!!

I felt damn productive that day coz I was able to get so many things done. It's been a long time since I felt so productive. Made me feel so much more alive... ;)

Dinner @ Cava was great as usual but towards the end of dinner, I felt a headache coming therefore, I took out a strip of panadol from my bag [yes, I'm quite aunty... Carrying panadol strips around in my bag] and popped out a couple of pills. When I popped out the 2nd pill, it flew outta my hand and landed near the next table and went 'pak pak pak' on the floor! OMG!! So memalukan!! I looked around and was relieved that nobody saw what just happened. Phew!! Yaacob and Lil J were engrossed in their conversation and didn't catch what I did. Hehe... Good!! I quietly popped out another pill then gulped it down with water. Towards the end of dinner, I meekly admitted to them what I did. Yaacob had this bemused expression and Lil J was expressionless. Oh well, maybe both of them know me so well they're kinda immune to my antics.

We went to Cineleisure after dinner to watch 'The Waterhorse'. We were early so Yaacob suggested we play a few rounds of foosball. It was so FUN!! I haven't had such fun in a long time. I was screaming with excitement and high 5-ed Lil J whenever we won! At first, Lil J and I were winning then towards the end, Yaacob decided to play with his full power and beat both of us [it was Lil J and I against him. 2 against 1. Unfair? Not really. Yaacob's a guy. Guys naturally know how to play these kinda games real well, ok?!].

After several rounds of foosball, it was time to go into the cinema. The movie was good!! Very touching. It surpassed my expectations. The CGI was great and the storyline was very original. No cliches whatsoever. I like!! After watching the movie, I felt like having a waterhorse as a pet :P Hehe...

Then, as I was driving Lil J home, I got stopped by the JPJ [I always get stopped. I think I have this 'sucker-can-be-bullied' kinda face coz I always always get stopped!! Malang! Grrr...] and got saman-ed coz my driving license expired. Ooops, trust me to be so bloody ignorant til I can forget to check my license' expiry date. I'd been driving around illegally for 4 months!! I wonder whether this incident is actually a blessing in disguise. If I didn't get stopped, I will still be driving around with an expired license. Anyways, Dad got my license re-newed and I need to sort out the saman fast.

Sigh... Broke!!
