1 Weekend - 3 Movies

I was a good girl last weekend. Stayed in for quiet nights with Yaacob and watched DVDs. We watched a total of 3 movies...

On Thursday, the movie that was screened at 'The Yaacob TV Screen Cinema' was Sweeney Todd. It was quite a disturbing movie coz of the cold blooded killings and the disgusting way Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett decided to dispose of the bodies of their victims. Most disturbing of all was the ending of the movie. I shouldn't reveal too much as I don't wanna giveaway the entire storyline of the movie. Then, it'll be no fun for those who haven't watched it but plan to catch it in DVD.

On Friday night, we wasted an hour and a half of our time watching Hitman. Seriously, it's a waste of time. Acting was bad, storyline was... Actually there's no storyline. This movie is just an excuse for the actor, Timothy Olyphant, to look macho [but to me, he just looked really weird and wooden. Fake macho]. Urrghh... Don't even bother wasting your money on DVD for this movie.

On Saturday, we went for lunch at Friendster Cafe before I went mad shopping at Cats Whiskers. We then went for our pampering session and I continued my shopping spree at Cats Whiskers after that. Crazy, I know. I got RM150 worth of accessories and a pair of red heels. Happeee-nya...

We planned to watch Vantage Point at night but due to a really horrible jam at The Curve area, we went 'The Yaacob TV Screen Cinema' instead and watched American Gangsters. This is a really good movie. Really really good. Serious drama and great acting. Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe really deserve best actor nominations for their work here. Watch it if you haven't. This movie is certainly worth your time watching. It's 3 hours long, btw.

On Sunday, we went to Pavilion to jalan-jalan then went home. A really relaxing weekend. I like weekends like this... I feel really rested and energized today :)
