Visited May and Eric to get angpaus. Haha... It's their first year as a married couple and I asked May how did she feel when since this is her first year handing out angpaus. She made a face and said "Actually, it cost a lot of money." Hahaahaha...
We sat down and talked about various things. Updated each other on the latest goss and news. And sat through this really stupid local reality TV show called 'What Women Want'. It's so stupid I'm not even bothered to google it. Seriously, the local entertainment industry should just buck up. Either invest $ in good quality shows or just don't bother making any at all just for the sake of making it. And stop copying shows from abroad and trying to localise it. Stop putting ugly, delusional [ppl who thinks the world of themselves but they are actually nobodies with no talents, no looks, etc] people on TV coz it's just so insulting for the viewers! My god, there was this one guy in the 'What Women Want' show that I really feel like punching. And I'm not even an aggresive person. This is how bad he is. Someone should just give that dude a punch and ask him to put a sock in his mouth. He's really weird looking and behaves as if he's all that. I'm wondering what went through the minds of the producers who allowed him in the show. Gawd, that fella really disgusts me! Yuck!
Ok, stop bitching about the stupid disgusting delusional fella.
Anyways, I confirmed my steamboat session plans with May, on what food to buy and who to call and the time, etc. May passed me her steamboat cooker for the party coz I dun have one. I'm so excited. It's been a gazillion years since I threw a party. I think the last one I threw at home was during my 12th birthday. Haha... That's a really long time ago...
I've got all the lists sorted out for the party, the food list, drink list, guest list, cutlery list, additional food list, etc. Mom's gonna help me buy all the stuff and make the soup. Thank goodness! All I gotta do is go to the supermarket to buy the fish, ice and make sure everything is in order on that day. Oh, yea, I must remember to buy the yummy chicken wings.
Okies, hopefully everything goes as planned and I don't screw up anything. Fingers crossed!!
