Chriz' Christmas BBQ Party

Mentioned this party in one of my earlier posts.

Yaacob and I were rushing like mad around 1U before dashing off to Chriz'. We were trying to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I hadta get drinks for the party.

But surprise! Surprise! We were one of the earliest there. Only Alice and Paige [who lives next door] were there. Then, not long after, Elaine arrived. We started eating even before the party started. Chriz did a fantastic job [as usual] in preparing the delicious food. She marinated chicken wings and she bought lamb, pork, sausages, prawns, etc. You name it, she got it. I was really impressed. Alice helpd out in cutting the meat in small pieces and cutting away the blackened sides of some of the meat. Paige and Chriz were BBQ-ing and Yaacob and I... Well, we were helping to eat :P
Then, after everyone came, we started eating, talking, doing our usual jokes exchanged and cam-whoring. Chriz took out a bunch of pressies which she and Bev bought for ALL of us. THANK YOU CHRIZ & BEV!! I got a MAC eyeshadow :D
After that, we watched TV. The Amazing Race Asia was on. When the show ended, we ate some more and took more pics. Chriz had 'Tong Yuen' prepared for us [you know we 'heart' you, Chriz!!]. It was Yaacob's first time eating 'Tong Yuen'. Dunno if he likes it...
Then, the most exciting part of the evening came! We exchanged presents. Paige was elected as the honorary VIP who'll present the gifts to us. Everyone drew a number from a makeshift drawing pouch with pieces of card board in it with numbers written on it. I got a present from Alice and Alice got mine!! Hahaha... We literally exchanged gifts with each other...
After the gift-exchanging, we brought out Elaine's birthday cake, sang her a birthday song and had her cut the cake. Her cake was actually the walnut brownies from Secret Recipe. I bought it. The cakes there didn't look appetising therefore I chose to buy the brownie. It sure was yummy...
The X-Men marathon began shortly after the cake-cutting so all of us sat down at the hall to chill and watch the movie. Savvy performed some tricks for our entertainment at the side. Then, Yaacob and I decided to call it a night.
