Went to Pei Hong's house warming party today... I was given the task to buy drinks.
At 1pm, I found myself huffing and puffing [with May, who was so unfortunate to arrive at the same time I did. I told her to meet me at the guardhouse and shoved a bag of drinks at her to carry] during the long long long [it did seemed like eternity] walk from the guardhouse to her apartment block [which happened to be at the END of the entire area, the final block!!] under the hot afternoon sun. My gawd!! Did it have to be that hot??!!! I was all sweaty when I finally got to her apartment.
Had a great time catching up with the girls. There were lotsa food. Couldn't finish all of it. Got May to drop me off at The Curve after that to do my Christmas shopping.
Met up with Yaacob and Lil Jessie and walked around hunting for pressies. Bumped into Pei Ying at CK. Oh, it's hers and Pei Yuen's birthday btw, so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GALS!!!
Spent quite a lot on the gifts, wrappers and gift cards today. But it's all worth it :D I really love Christmas!! I love getting pressies, wrapping it and placing it under the tree. I'm so excited!! I hope everyone like what I got for them...
Got everyone's pressies except Soo's and Dad's [Yaacob's not included coz he already knows what he wants]. It's so hard to think of what to get Dad. He already has everything. Sigh... Each year, I'd be like facing a dead-end when it comes to figuring out what to get Dad. And in the end, I'd always somehow get him crappy gifts. Sighhhh...
Please, please, for this year, lemme be struck by genius inspiration and be able to get an awesome gift for Dad!!
