The Story of "The Wedding Shoot from Hell"

I almost fell off my chair when I heard of YY and Alan's wedding shoot horror story yesterday. It's so OMG!! Ahahahahahaa...

For some strange reason, YY decided to hire this really crappy old-fashioned bridal house from Jalan Ipoh for her wedding shoot for the MICE mass -edding promotion. To cut cost, she herself, together with Tinki, Alan and Andrew Lee from sales dept became the talents for the shoot.

YY and Alan related to us how they were made to wear really horrible 80s style outfits [think big poofy gowns - which are so 'zaman batu', suits with lots of ruffles and big collars ala John Travolta style from 'Saturday Night Fever'] that made them look like performers for some tacky theater show rather than brides and grooms. YY said the makeup they did on her made her look 35 and her hair was done really horribly.

I imagined how all of them would look like and I couldn't stop laughing. YY showed me a picture she took with her phone. She looked as if she was sprouting an alien growth on her head with all the hair extension, feathers and dunno-wad 'accessorising' her hair.

From what I heard, the makeup artist, stylist and photographer probably still live in the 70s - 80s era to be able to make them look so horrible. During the shoot, they hadta do killer-poses i.e. looking deeply into each others eyes, rub noses, almost kissing, guys carrying the girls [which was quite difficult due to the poofy gowns], etc. So 'eeeeewwww'...

Yes, yes I know. So mean of me, right? Hahahahaa... All 4 of them were so traumatised by the experience, the mere mention of the word 'wedding' made them shudder in horror. Let's hope this is not a lasting effect or else they'd never wanna take wedding pictures with their future husbands and wives.
