Merry Merry Christmas!!

Ooohh... Christmas is FINALLY here!!! Yippeeee...

And the thought of NOT waking up early to the sound of the alarm clock tomorrow to drag myself outta bed and to work is just BLISS!! I love holidays!!! Yeay....

The weekend has been a crazy flurry of shopping, parties and more last minute shopping...

I went to the Gardens with mom on Saturday with the intention of getting dad's gift. I finally knew what to get him. It was mom's idea. A bolar. A watch for him to go running and time himself. What a genius idea, mom!! Dad's always been very sporty and athletic, so this gift is perfect!!

Got home, made an appointment with EY's stylist [she recommended him coz I was bitching and moaning to her about my terrible, unmanageable hair and I had no idea where to cut my hair], made some calls to Shu to arrange about that night's 'Goh Tung' festival [we hadta make the 'Tong Yuen'], made arrangements with Jebbrine on how to pick her up, then drove off to 1U for my haircut. I initially planned to dash to the shops for some last minute Christmas shopping [I haven't bought Yaacob's pressie and there's 2 pairs of heels I MUST have ~ they didn't have my size at the Garden's branch so I was thinking of checking out the branch in 1U] but I took too long at the salon, so by the time I got out, it's already late. I need to drop off Jebbrine's friend at section 17 before heading home so dashing around the mall is not an option at that time :'( Also, I didn't feel like walking around the mall in my new hairstyle. Jebbrine and her friend couldn't stop laughing the moment I stepped outta the salon :'( [nuff said!!]

Got home and made some 'Tong Yuen' [we kinda didn't know how to make it and just guessed and assumed how to do it :P]. Yaacob's at some stag night thingy...

The next day, I wanted to get Yaacob's pressie but I woke up late :'( Rushed like mad to get ready for Chriz' BBQ party [will post the pics later]. The party was fun. We had lamb, chicken wings, sausages, fishballs, prawns and all sorts of things to eat. Then, later on, we exchanged gifts and had a cake cutting thingy for Elaine coz her birthday was on Christmas eve.

Got home late and dead tired. The next day, was Kenny's Christmas party...

Woke up not as late but Yaacob was busy getting my pressies wrapped and all so I couldn't go get his [we decided we could pick our own pressies this year, which in my opinion, is not such a great idea... I still prefer being in the dark on what he bought and have a nice surprise when I unwrap my pressies on Christmas day]. Waited and waited for him to be done. He swung by around 6.30pm and passed me a really beautiful log cake [for my family] from Coffee Bean. The box was huge and couldn't fit into my fridge coz of its height. My maid had some silly ideas on how to make it fit into the fridge. I didn't want the cake to be ruined, therefore, I called mom up and told her what to do with the cake in order to fit it into the fridge. Sigh... Stress...

Went to 1U to get Yaacob's pressie. Finally, we found something he wanted!! Finally... FINALLY... Hurrah!! Got it wrapped then we rushed over to Kenny's. We were late...

Had a good time at Kenny's [will post pics later]. Mainly coz the guys were so funny with their remarks to each other. And when they got drunk, it's even funnier. Got home late, got locked out [by Jebbrine], Soo hadta let me in... >:(

And today.... it's Christmas!!!!

I'm waiting for everyone to arrive so that we can ALL open our pressies!!! Heheheehehehe...
