So I went to Velvet...

I was all dolled up and ready to go to May's bachelorette party on Saturday but she called to cancel at the last minute coz of water rationining at her apartment. So, Yaacob and I went to Velvet straight. I was feeling rather unwell, with my sorethroat [voice not fully restored yet :(] and cough and a bit of running nose :'(

I got a text from Lil Jessie and Foxy earlier that day to ask whether I'd be at Velvet. I was all geared up to party with the girls and tried to ignore being sick [although I was feeling quite sick]. When I got to Velvet, both of them were already there. Foxy's twin, Pei Ying aka Tupai [don't ask me why she's Tupai] was there as well. As usual, I was excited to see her as I always feel really amazed to see the twins [identical twins are so cool!!] :D

We partied til about 2am plus. That was when I couldn't take it anymore. My throat was feeling horrible coz of the smokey environment. Yaacob and Lil Jessie took me up to the entrance to breath in some fresh air. I decided I wanted to go home and rest. I had to wake up early for May's wedding the following day and I had to work [do the makeup for her bridesmaid]. I need to rest. I asked Lil Jessie to drive me home and crashed as soon as I climbed onto my bed.
