Celebrated Bev's birthday last Thursday at Madan Kwan's during lunchtime. Got him a cake and a giant card.
Evonne and I ordered a plate of sambal petai, regular, but... when it came... OMG!! The portion was huge!! Enough to feed the whole table... Gasp!!
Everyone recoiled and went "Waaa... Eeeyerr... Who ordered petai??!!"
Evonne and I meekly put up our hands [malu]... We tried our best to finish the dish, generously offering it to anyone who'll have it...
I think we still smell of petai a few days after that :P
