@ May's on a Friday Night [Her Pre-Wedding Party]

On last last Friday night [means 2 weeks ago...], 2 days before the BIG day, we girls met up at May's for dinner, catch up, hang out and plan on how to 'torture' the groom on Sunday morning. We initially planned to just gather on Saturday night [the bachelorette party] and discuss the 'torture' plan. But Jo said that what if we need to get/buy something, then it'll be too late to prepare the stuff if we discuss it the night before the wedding. No time.

Good thinking, Jo!! Why do I say that? Coz on Saturday, the party was cancelled due to water rationing at May's place. So, thank goodness we met up on Friday night.

What we did:

• Got to May's house and attacked the food
• Took pics
• Chit-chatted
• Drank May's really 'kau' tea [she dumped in a whole lot of tea leaves into a small teapot to make the tea. Can you believe it??!!]
• Watched May's wedding pictures on video on the TV
• The guys went out to buy ice [and came back almost half an hour later with coke as well]
• Brainstormed on on how to 'torture' Eric the groom and wrote down a list of tasks for everyone for Sunday morning [I had to do the makeup for May's bridesmaid]

• Then, I remembered that May asked me how to do smokey-eye makeup
• Went into May's room to teach her. Did some makeup demo for the girls [not that I'm some great makeup guru. Just sharing my knowledge :P]

After doing half of May's face [I left half of her face bare for her to practise on], I did Jo. Did the smokey-eye makeup on half of her face and the other half of her face a sexy-eye look [which I simply created :P]

Then, I did her hair...

• When we're finally done playing with makeup, we walked outta the room to find the boys close to finishing a bottle of Hennessy. They were drinking out of wine glasses. Gosh...

We had good fun that night!! Will definitely organise the steamboat party very soon!!
