Jessie's Birthday Brunch @ Prego

Celebrated Jessie's birthday at Prego, Westin last Sunday. It was supposed to be a surprise brunch thingy but she sorta suspected it.

It's a champagne brunch. Free flow of champagnes and cocktails throughout the entire meal [the drinks came faster than the food]. The waiters would serve bread, different types of soup, pasta and pizza. For salads, meat, cheese and dessert, we gotta get it ourselves from the buffet spread downstairs.

They had quite a selection of salads, cheese and dessert. And oysters [I love OYSTERS]!! But the oysters there tasted way too salty. Dunno why...

I had fun eating and drinking champagne. A clown [shudder!! I hate clowns!! Am scared of them :(] was walking around, making all sorts of things with his balloons and giving it to the diners.

Then, towards the end of our meal, the waiters came with red clown noses for all of us and sang a happy birthday song to Jessie and presented her with a cupcake. All of us took pics in our red clown noses :)



Then... I fell sick!!

Really really sick.

I had a tummyache and went to the restroom. Then, I starting throwing up. Urrghhh... Hate the feeling. It's disgusting!! But I couldn't help it. Jessie had a tummyache too!! Dunno wad we ate that was so bad that it made us instantly sick!! I was so sick I couldn't even walk properly. Loo had to send us to Yaacob's car which was parked at Pavilion [we initially planned to walk around Pavilion after the brunch. Guess we hadta go another day... Sigh...].

I spent the rest of the day throwing up: 3 times at the Prego restroom, 1 time in Yaacob's car [I threw up in the Prego paperbag that Lam got for me. It's really a paper paperbag. By the time I was done barfing, the bag looked like it's gonna bocor. I felt bad enough throwing up in Yaacob's car. I didn't want the paperbag to bocor and mess up his car!! Without thinking, I opened the door when he stopped at the side of the road and threw the paperbag out onto the road. Then, I asked him to drive off. Aaaa... I really detest litterbugs!! And I threw my barf bag onto the road just like that. I was so sick I wasn't thinking straight. Actually I wasn't thinking at all... Sigh...] and once in his house [and messed up his bathroom]. Aaaa....

Yaacob was very sweet. He let me sleep and brought me medicine and water. I slept for a few hours after my puking spell wore off. Felt so tired. Yaacob got me some porridge to eat when I woke up.

Took sick leave the following day to see the doctor. Til now my tummy still doesn't feel right. Sigh...

What did I eat at Prego's that made me so sick? The oysters? Mixture of cocktail and champagne?? I really dunno...
