2 Tops & A Dress

Walked through the dust, heat and mad motorists to the KL Convention Centre to check out "It's a Girl Thing" last Friday with Evonne.

We practically ran across the roads like mad hens in our high heels to avoid being hit by the stampede of cars driving our way [there was no zebra-crossing and the cars simply won't stop coming our way!!].

I was expecting a lot of designer booths there, but it's actually not that happening. There was a fashion theater at one side of the hall [which I really wanted to check out] but entry was by invitation only :'(

Anyways, spotted a booth selling clothes for RM25 a piece. Got myself 2 tops :) [Very proud of myself :D]

Saw a girl walking around with the most adorable shoebox cum bag. Very innovative design. It's a shoe box with strings for you to slip it over your shoulder to carry like a bag. Very stylish [read: I WANT!!!].

Evonne and I inspected each shoe booth after that, trying to find out which booth gives that out. It's actually from Shoes Shoes Shoes. I know, I know... Shoes Shoes Shoes have been around [at Bangsar] for ages. I heard about it. But never checked it out... Intended to... But never found the time to do so... Felt so 'zaman batu' when I found that out. Everybody must have known that the stylo-milo shoebox-bag packaging is from Shoes Shoes Shoes except moi... Eeepss :O

Then, walked into Mooie and My Dress Room's booths. Got myself a nice little dress from My Dress Room. I was contemplating to buy a shirt dress from Mooie but I couldn't try it on. What if it's too big for me??!! Sigh... How? How? To buy or not to buy??? Evonne helped me make the decision NOT to buy it.

Wanted to get more stuff but really, there's nothing much to buy. So, we went back to the office... Clutched our bags of purchases and dashed across the roads like mad hens again... [traffic in KL is really gila!!]
