Yay, I finally got my trim and I'm 1 color again!! N I got my mani and pedi done!! Yippee!!!

I finally got my hair colored and trimmed and my nails done!! So happeeee...

I was not feeling well last Wednesday. So I went to see the doctor. When I walked out of the clinic, I saw the hair care shop next to it. I couldn't resist the temptation to walk in. I then asked the sales girl whether it's gonna be hard to color my hair in 1 color again as now it's in 2 shades: black from roots to half of the length of my hair and light brown from the half length of my hair til the ends. She said I could do it if I chose a darker color. So I did! I bought a dark brown color. :D I colored my hair later that night and now my hair's 1 color again!! A nice shade of dark brown... Yippee...

The next to-do thing on my list was to get my hair trimmed. I've been wanting to trim my hair since ages ago but no time. Then last Friday, I finally got to do it! The office was really quiet [a lot of people were on leave due to Raya], and there was nothing much to do. I wanted to go to Peekaboo to try out this stylist which Sue Lyn from Grey recommended [coincidentally, he is Yaacob's stylist too! Never knew his name. I nicknamed him Ronald McDonald coz the first time I accompanied Yaacob to Peekaboo for his haircut, the stylist was in a pair of Ronald McDonald shoes, a funky looking cowboy kinda outfit and a hat on top of his mass of frizzy hair. Hence the nickname Ronald McDonald. When I told Yaacob I wanted to try out this stylist named Seth in Peekaboo, recommended by Sue Lyn, he was like, "Hey he's my stylist too!" What a coincidence!]. Sue Lyn says she never lets anyone else touch her hair. Only him! So he must be good. I thought of going after work. Then when it was close to lunchtime, my colleagues asked why didn't I go to Joey [my regular stylist]. "But he's always busy. It's hard to book him," I said. "Try to call him now. If he's in today, you can go to his salon during lunch. It's so near anyway," Evonne told me. So I called Joey:

Joey: [picked up after a few rings] "Wanna cut your hair??"

Me: [amused by his usual bubbly, energetic manner] "Yessss. You in today?"

Joey: "Yup, I'm in my salon. What time are you coming?"

Me: "Now! I'll take the monorail now, ok?"

Joey: "Good. Come quickly. I have another client coming in at 1.30."

Me: "Ok. See you!!"

Joey: "Byeeee."

I beamed as I hung up. So happy. I didn't have to wait until after work to go to Peekaboo anymore. I could go to Joey's right now! I'm the kinda person who wants to do things right now when I set my mind to doing it. I hate waiting and delaying on doing things that I really really wanna do.

So, happily I walked with my colleagues to BB Plaza. I made them escort me up to the salon before letting them go to Old Town for lunch [I'm mean, I know!! Hehe...]. Joey bounced up to me and gave me a cheery hello then sat me down on one of the chairs and as usual asked about Yaacob:

Joey: "Where's your leng chai boyfriend?"

Me: "He's at home. Busy cleaning up the house for Raya."

Joey: "Wa... So good. Don't need to work ar?"

Me: "His company gave all employees a day off today coz of Raya."

Joey nodded. He gestured to a boy to come over and asked him to wash my hair. After washing, Joey bounced over [he's really this happy ball energy] and proceeded to trim my hair. He commented that my hair is getting healthier [probably because I colored my whole head in dark brown therefore it looked healthier than when it was half black and half light brown]. Then, he asked me whether I wanted my hair curled. I said ok. He asked the same boy to dry my hair. When my hair was dry, Joey trimmed my hair a bit more then curled it with a hot tong.

Wow, I love it! Joey's really a great stylist. He's not called one of Malaysia's best for nothing. My hair looked so great! It felt so bouncy! : ) Hehe... I miss having curly hair. I think I should get Joey to perm it again soon!!

After I thanked Joey for the great job he did, I bounced off happily in search of my colleagues. I found YY and Alice in front of Watson's. YY asked if the curls are permanent. "Yes," I lied. "Nonsense. It won't take this fast to perm la," said Alice. They played with my curls for a while, commented how bouncy it was before we walked back to the office : D

When I got home, I curled my hair with hot rollers then sprayed it with hairspray to make it last longer [gotta make sure it'll last the whole night. Got to go to '21' later]. Kekekkee.... Check it out in my '21' pics [I'll upload it in a bit in my next post].

And today, I finally got my nails done!! French! Just the way I like it!! Yaacob went with me and got a pedicure. He's got really nicely shaped toe nails now. Hehe...
