This was my first ever concert and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :D
Mel came with her friend and joined me for dinner before the concert started. It was great to see her. Had not met up with her for ages. Too bad we couldn't hang out together during the concert. Mel was at the right side of the arena while I was at the left.
O well, I had Yaacob and my bunch of wacky colleagues to hang out with. It was so fun. Yaacob danced [sober and voluntarily]. I got to see Alan showing his moves [yesss, Alan, you're ready for your birthday bash next month. Will get you totally sloshed!! Ahahahaahhaa....].
Spotted Suilin and Kenny at the seats. Suilin sms-ed me: "I see u :)" I spoiled Kenny's surprise for Suilin :P He wanted to take her to this concert as a surprise but I kinda blew it for him [not on purpose!!] by telling Suilin the actual day of the concert. She thought it was going to be on a Saturday and Kenny told her he wanted to take her out for a date on Friday. I blabbed to her that the concert was on Friday so she figured out that he wanted to surprise her. Hehe... Sorreee Kenny!!
The concert started without an opening act. The BEP just walked on stage and started singing and dancing. Their energy were infectious. They got the whole arena on their feet dancing, singing and shouting. Fergie's so totally cool!! I really love her. She's gorgeous and so fit!! She ran around the stage, singing and dancing and at one particular point did flips on stage. So cooool!!! And she belted out 4 songs from her 'Duchess' album ~ Big Girls Don't Cry, Glamorous, Fergilicious & London Bridge.
Except for a few annoying individuals who inconsiderately squeezed themselves in front of us, blocking our view and started dancing as if there's no tomorrow [trust me! These people move as though they're practising some martial arts moves. Bumping into us the entire time without a word of apology. Probably their skin are too thick they didn't realise they bumped into people with their exaggerated moves. Totally NOT cool!! Grrr... >:(], I really had a great time.
