Will be spending Xmas over there. Gonna enjoy wine in the vineyards in Adelaide, the beaches at Gold Coast and everything in Melbourne [one of my fav cities!!].

Will be gone til year end. So...

What's the big deal??

. Watched New Moon with some friends last weekend.

I'm not a fan of Twilight, never read the books and am certainly not a fan of Rob-Patz, K-Stew or Taylor Lautner [though I have to say, his bod is incredible!!]. I don't get the whole madness surrounding the movies and the actors. I mean, why are there so many people so in love with the vampire, the girl the vampire loves and the werewolf?? The whole story is just another love story, in a supernatural setting. That's all. I dunno, maybe the books are great. Maybe the movie didn't do the books justice. I just dunno wad's the big deal with this Twilight - New Moon thing. The acting is seriously off! The lines are OMG, so lame and century - old cheesy. Urghh... I was bored to death just half an hour into the movie...

I find Bella really annoying. What's with all the screaming as if she's in physical pain and her self-endangering behavior? Now, that's what I call a serious case of ADD [attention deficit disorder].

And how she treats Jacob, was really unacceptable. Leading him on, telling him she loves him but then going off with Edward... Poor Jacob...

Rob-Patz had it easy in this movie. Just stood around looking pretty [well, honestly I don't find him attractive at all but I bet lots of girls would beg to differ]. Always looking like he's half-dead [yes, I know he's already dead, but still!]. And so pale... Can't believe Bella choose this...

Ok, maybe the pic above is pretty photoshopped. But check out a still from the movie below. That can't be fake! Hats off to Taylor Lautner who has the discipline and drive to work out and buff up. He looks like he belongs to one of the 300 boys... Hahaha...

The werewolves looked a bit fake to me...

I find Alice Cullen really pretty. She's one of the more watcheable ones in the movie.

Ok, you must be wondering why I bother to sit through 2 hours of New Moon if all I do now is just criticise it. Well.... This is the reason why I watched it in the first place...

Dakota Fanning. So talented! So cute! She completely stole the limelight with just minutes in the movie. I hope they'd show more of her in the upcoming movies.

* No offense to all Twilight/ Rob Patz/ K-Stew/ Taylor Lautner fans out there. This is just my personal opinion on the entire thing.

To Do For the Rest of the Week...

Today ~ Wed
Just finished work! Yup... I sometimes am done with work this late!

*Yawns*

But can't complain much coz if I stop working, the moolah will stop coming in ;)

Gotta be up in a few hours' time. Have a morning meeting to discuss the mood and location of my next GinQin shoot. Thx to my ol high school buddy turned photographer Chris Woh aka Chee Ann [as how I know him since 16 years ago, oh wow, I feel so old!!] who offered to shoot this FOC!!

Then, gotta go for a dentist appointment in Hartamas with mommy and sisters right after lunch. Am quite nervous, though mommy told me this dentist is the best, really gentle and all that I won't feel a thing. She's so good apparently our ex-prime minister Dr. Mahathir is one of her clients. Dunno how far it's true...

After that, gotta go for an event at Velvet/Phuture. Hmmm... Am planning to dress very 80s since it's mambo night. But... Dunno if I'll really be going since VM, the person who asked me to go is sick.

Gonna hit the gym before crashing at bestie's place. Her mommy's outta town so she asked me to sleep over at her place to keep her company. Am thinking of ordering pizza and knocking back a few glasses of vodka over a couple of DVDs before sinking into slumberland...

Y's gonna b back!! But it'll b too late to see him :(

Gonna spend time with my honey!! Haven't seen him in 2 weeks!! Looking forward to a nice quiet dinner with him then maybe party later on...

Okays... That's my so-called to-do list for the rest of the week... Hehehehe... Let's hope things'll pick up by next week on the stuff I'm hoping will work out ;)

The Box

Watched The Box with my sister last Wednesday...

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT bother watching this movie! Simply because it's not worth wasting 2 hours of your life and RM10 on it. Seriously! It is a crappy crappy movie. Why Cameron Diaz and James Marsden signed on to star in it, I'll never know.

But, if you wanna sit through 2 hours of watching Cameron Diaz attempting to speak in a Southern slang and don't mind not knowing what the heck this movie is all about with all your questions unanswered, please go ahead and watch it. But, don't say you've not been warned!

Musings on a Friday Nite

Yes.... I'm home on a Friday nite! Woo hoo!!! Hahahhaaha...

It's so rare that I'm home at the begining of a weekend. But I really appreciate this much needed 'me time' right now. To do my work, to do a bit of reading, to blog and to enjoy the delicious apple crumble I bought after gym just now [I am on 7th heaven!! Been craving for apple pie since 2 weeks ago!! :D], to just think through things...

I really have a lot on my mind these days. And a lot to get done. So, I'm gonna start ticking off my list of 'things to do' by begining to do those things now... :D

Jessie's Belated Birthday Celebration

Jessie's turned ** [can't reveal her age] last Wed and all of us girls treated her to dinner at the new 21 kitchen + bar in BSC. Food was great and the ambience and the view was awesome. The toilet has a very unique sink. Haha...

We proceeded to Velvet after dinner where we met up with the rest of the gang to party the night away.

Yes, he was back last weekend. Now I hafta wait for another 2 weeks before I can see him again :'(

The girls had fun. Foxy drank and went red... Hehe.. So cute!!

Lam brought gf Sandy to party with us...

Velvet was relatively not-as-crowded as usual. There were still a lot of people but it was not 'sardine-packed-with-everyone-stepping-on-you-and-you-can't-move' kinda crowded. But I'm begining to get bored of the music there. Same thing each and every week. I can almost memorise the sequence of the songs played.

Need to find a new fun place with awesome music to party!
